Enough of the MOUs

Africa is drowning in Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on energy, yet the lights are still off in many homes. MOUs alone don’t generate electricity — power plants do.

It’s time to move beyond paper promises and push for:
🔹 Real investments in infrastructure
🔹 Groundbreaking projects that create jobs
🔹 Operational plants, not just press releases
🔹 Accountability & timelines for delivery

The future of Africa’s energy cannot be built on agreements that never materialize. It must be built on action, implementation, and results.
